WJWC to launch training program for women on media mobilization

Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) in collaboration with the Canadian Program for Development is to implement its first annual program for women leaders on the skills of media mobilization and highlighting.

The program will be held in three governorates (Sana'a, Taiz and Aden). It is considered the first program which aims to provide women leaders with media skills which enable them to rally media outlets and using them in serving their organizations or parties.
The program will be launched on January 17, 2007 at Movenpick Hotel for six days. Then, they will apply what they learnt in three days. They will use these skills in organizing press conferences, panel discussions, symposiums , press releases, statements and electronic mobilization. The same courses will be also held in Taiz and Aden.
