Members of what is known as the security belt at al-Inshaat camp in Aden have arrested and tortured a student from Taiz province on suspicion of alleged involvement in security crimes, reported local sources.
The sources pointed out that the student, Assem Saif Saeed Ali, was arrested on 25 March and then had been tortured using electrical wires from 12 pm to 3 am by security elements belonging to Aden’s security belt although he was convicted of nothing.
According the same sources, the student hailing from Taiz province has been living in Aden for 16 years, and has studied at the community college for the fourth year.
