Ar Team responsible for following up mysterious death case of Journalist Al Absi demands not to share any relevant information
The team responsible for the death case of journalist Mohammed Abdu Al Absi has demanded not to share or deal with any fabricated or leaked information in this regard in order to preserve the integrity of procedures and results, explaining that statements from any source or individual other than the team members are unreliable.
In a statement issued recently, the team pointed out it works independently of all parties for the integrity of procedures and findings, promising to share all the relevant details immediately upon completion.
The statement emphasized the team’s determination not to allow any interference in the case by any party no matter they are, stressing that the team members have never asked or received any financial support from any political party, and that they will depend on their own sources and some independent organizations to cover the entire costs of the case.
The follow-up team has highly appreciated the utmost interest of journalists, activists and citizens in the case of the deceased journalist Mohammed Al Absi.
It is worth mentioning that the team assigned to follow up the Al Absi’s death case includes the family of the deceased al-Absi, two local NGOs, Sanaa Center for Studies and Yemeni Journalists Syndicate.
