The Association of Detainees' Mothers on Sunday condemned the assault on detainees held in Habrah Jailby a Houthi leader.
The association said on its facebook page that the Houthi leader Yahya al-Maheel beat the detainees until being bled and insulted them.
It held the administration of Habrah Jail responsible for the assault, indicating that the detainees are ill and unable to defend themselves.
It further warned against suchheinous acts practiced by Houthi militias, pointing out that the upcoming days may witness systemic assaults against detainees in Habrah Jail.
The association had urged the world community to express solidarity with detainees and demand to swiftly release thousands of detainees held in jails of Saleh and the Houthis without any charges.
