The Houthi militia has abducted civil rights activist Ibrahim Al-Jahdabi hailing form Utma District while he was in the centre of Dhamar province and took him to an unknown destination.
According a source close to his family, Al-Jahdabi on Sunday was abducted from a public street a day after armed confrontations had broken the pro-government popular resistance and elements belonging to the Houthi militia supported and financed by Iran and allied with the deposed president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
The source pointed out that the abductee’s relatives came together with the areas’ elders and moved towards to the city of Dhamar to address the issue and demand to release their relative.
