The family of the detained writer and journalist Yahya al-Jubaihi has demanded to reveal the fate of him and his son, Hamzah, who were arrested several days ago from their home in Sana'a City.
In a statement, the family said that al-Jubaihi is suffering from various illnesses due to his old age. It sent one of his son, Dhi Yazan to take care for him, pointing out that his health will worsen if he is taken care of.
It further held the National Security Organization run by the Houthis and Saleh fully responsible for the lives of al-Jubaihi and his son, Abdul-Raqeeb, demanding to release them without delay.
The family of al-Jubaihi called activists, media outlets, and local and international organizations express their solidarity with the writer al-Jubaihi, his two sons.
It urged them to denounce these arbitrary acts, put pressures on the Houthis and Saleh to releases them and put an end repressions against journalists.
Security forces related to the National Security Organization abducted last Tuesday al-Jubaihi from his home in Sana'a days after they abducted his son, Hamzah.
