Ar WJWC condemns attack on faculty members and their assistants at University of Sana’a
"Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) has expressed its condemnation of the attack on the head of the “association of faculty members and their assistants” at University of Sanaa, Dr. Mohammed Al Dhahiri, members of the administrative body of the faculty union and a number of professors by the Houthi militia on campus.
As the organization deplores the barbaric attacks carried out by the Iran-backed militia supported by ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh against professors of Sana’a University while they were holding a protest to demand their salaries, it also holds the militias fully responsible for the assault.
WJWC also demonstrates firm solidarity with the abused professors and assistants who have been subjected to frequent attacks by the de facto authorities.
In this context, it calls on all human rights and civic organizations to condemn the attacks taken place on November 12, 2015 at the University of Sanaa.
